Blissport was founded on the concept that "women plan weddings, men plan honeymoons", and a ton of research to back it up. Based on this research, I developed user personas to help define the core customer problems the site would be built around, namely the matching, building and booking of a custom honeymoon. These use cases were then aligned with the business requirements of an online travel site focused on conversion. The numerous features and functionality identified were then broken out into a multiple iteration launch plan. Detailed wireframes and functional specifications guided the development team through the initial beta launch which we then tested with users. These recommendations were then rolled out alongside a full-featured honeymoon itinerary planner and a customized third-party booking solution in the second iteration of the site.
